Jimmy Johnson, a Macon County resident, is the brainchild of "Tuskegee Calling".

Jimmy has been keeping many of us updated on the news in Tuskegee by summarizing all this in a manner which is easily understood--sometimes in a most humorous fashion and dutifully submitting these every week or so!

Good week in Skegee, not politics.  Businesses are applying to come here and we need them all!

All the polls say Tuskegee Golden Tigers will finish 1st again.

Good news on some Skegee boys that are out of town getting together to put hotel here in the Village of Greenwood...4.5 acres sold on I-85 for 1 million dollars!!

Someone please explain to the new players that if you struggle or run from the guys that do the T cuts everyone gets you and cut their version of a T in your head. This is not hazing! Doing pic’s of campus for a group of tourist, buildings and sites of interest.

Here is a good one, last Thursdays paper had a police blotter Jimmy Johnson arrested for assault and holding a crack pipe, that other Jimmy Johnson, Fridays obits James Johnson 59 Tuskegee, died in local Nursing home, that's the other Jimmy Johnson, it’s not me, so please send flowers so I can smell and smoke them while I am alive. Use to be 5 Jimmy Johnson’s here, now 3.

Judge A Bulls (Snapper) had his last day in court last week, he is moving on.

Got a good one for some one broke into my house wed and stole body soap liquid soap, shampoo, t-shirts, combs, and clippers. They came out of my house in an area that an old septic tank hole sits covered by a piece of tin, well all of these items were around the hole and they cover was bent in on one side about the size of a shoe and leg, they got the clipper, please be on the lookout for an person with cuttings on leg, limping, and probably still stinks,hehehehehe.

ANOTHER ONE OF OUR RETIRED TEACHERS DIED THIS WEEK

It is a horrible story and will front page our news, we are sorry that this happened with so many reunions in town, but this is what your Tuskegee has become, a dying community of legends…
 
We have a First time, a funeral and mass class reunion came  together at same time when those hundreds of Stongaers, ended their meeting at the Kellogg center, then marched across the street to the chapel and honored Mrs.,Jeffery’s with a sea of gold and maroon.  Our Joyce Carter gave us an Amen song that took most us back to the baby tiger days.Years ago I had a sign made that seems to be helping out, people would drive too fast by the last T I school and school cross walks, it was to warn and make aware the fact that baby tigers were crossing.Local Commodore Ronald Lepread came to the sat talent show; he said he wanted to see the talent on stage where he and Lionel started.

WE need more weddings week, it is good to see some hope for our future.
 
A Local Tuskegee Airmen is in bad shape, wants to be there for the ribbon cutting, he is one of the first grads and his wife one of the first black women to get a pilots license, a living legend that defended our community, who’s wife flew planes here from factory’s, so that our Airmen could train to go and defend this community against all intruders. Their sons have devastated these legends! Airmen, Nazi memorabilia being sold all over the area, how did this community turn it’s children into crackheads,  we don’tcare about children! Think about this, if you had not left Tuskegee, do you think you would have fallen to the social events, parties, clubs and let’s not forget the getting high all the time group??? Or was it by the Grace of God!!!
 
Hey People, don’t steal from the dogtrack, they have cameras everywhere, most of those caught are females, it is not worth it, to see your children in court having to see and hear what mom has done hurts them deeply, 

Lots of history and legends have been saved by you, I scanned over 3,000 pic, documents, mag and news articles of Tuskegee of old, I did not change a word!!!.. They have been sent to you with blessings, let’s not lose them again.

Taskigi, give it back to the Creek nation, at least they got along… they can have it?!

I have given almost 20 years of trying to be a part of the restoration of the Tuskegee community, but the community does not want to change, it is on a suicide ride??Articles like the Suicide of a southern town and the Integration fight is killing Tuskegee have bought to light the reasons for the divisiveness of this culture of drugs;alcohol, corruptness, no moral values and pimping Christ the Lord, have become the norm. People ask me will I run for mayor? I respond with, my policy is: we build a fence around Tuskegee and start kicking niggars, assholes and real creeps out.

Well, it’s election time again and Tuskegee is back to
shots fired.

What is difference between congress and public trying to add  more taxes to big oil and Macon County trying to tax Victoryland,,, hummmmm, they both are in a war.

Col. Dryden aka A-train,  tried to hold out to cut the
ribbon, but at 87 and you have spent the last 25 years
traveling around the world receiving full honors for being
a Tuskegee Airmen, is a good life, 6 Presidents honored,
you make Tuskegeans proud to provided the resources for you to become famous, he will be missed. When sub sailor dies they say hes on eternal patrol, Iguess, airmen are, forever flying on silver wings.

The bums downtown are being removed, effects, they are
moving towards Greenwood and Greenfork, they follow the
liquor pimps.

Henderson Park looks good; we would like to have a picture  and plaque with Henderson¢s contributions out front.

That people is what Tuskegee is about, positive, caring, nurturing, loving people who continue to give, the best education and family life of a race of proud people… This was made possibly by so many of you and your votes. Thanks from Tuskegee.

Houston we have a problem. Hey guys,
The opening of the Airmen historic site, Oct. 10th ribbon cutting, rumor has it that the city and county with the highest percentage of democratic voters 87% will have as cutters and guest, Bush-McCain, and Michelle and BarackObama. 

All your work and tax dollars will be celebrated by out of Towner’s, a large media force, extra large secret service presence, very large political presence and most Tuskegeans will not get pass the security test, we are going to be used again, so many of you have labored to get this Memorial for these Airmen, including giving up your homes for the runway extensions, only 2 local people employed at the site, very very few items made in Tuskegee in site stores, lots of the construction was local in the first phase, restoration and parking lot, but the new buildings, we were not in there?? We spent 110k in grants to redo square downtown, some with the idea these guest are going to come down, for what??? The Airmen have only given story’s about the hatred from downtown, (1939 to 1947) some never returned to Tuskegee, some went to jail on trumped up charges, Macon County was a dry county and some were chained and put in security off base for alcohol charges that went on their records, some had cars and  money taken from them and never returned, some stated that if they could get thru the Tuskegee Flying school, because it was a hard course, 6 out of 10 were washed out, lots of reasons for wash out’s, but most spoke of prejudice, they understood that they had to be 3 times better to be equal to whites, these were the cream of the crop; they wouldremember the hate of Tuskegee forever.  As I taped the interviews some would be crying about how they (Officers in the Army Aircorp) were treated by this counntry, even though they were willing to defend and die for America. 

 Hope you get a seat or catch the ribbon cutting on channel 8, channel 12 has to show murders and shootings first, Tuskegee News will show some drug bust or a dumb shooting in big pictures and The Airmen in a little corner in the back corner of page 6 small letters, that what their editor see’s, it is one way to kill a culture and we will not tell him to stop it, let Tuskegee be the place to show our positive side for the youths self-esteem, oh, I forgot, we don’t care about our children until jail time!!!
