Today, at appoximately 6:20 am, Chanel and Patrick left for Minnesota. 

Patrick will be attending college there to major in Psychology.  As a mother, it was difficult to let go.  I spent last week shedding alot of tears and put on a very brave front this morning.  They even had the audacity to take my baby "Devie" with them. 

On August 6, 2005, my daughter Chanel Hargrove, gave birth to my first grandchild, Devon James (aka DJ, Devie) weighing 7 lbs and 2 ozs.  I was in the delivery room when Devie came into the world!  Giving birth and watching from an overhead mirror is one thing, but seeing my grandson enter the world was an emotional moment for me!!
