Each day State and local officials are on the phone to Washington crying about help for the flooding here in the south. They want that help at once. They have forgotten about our experience with Katrina, and of course, they did not vote for President Obama. If you are one of these people, CHECK YOURSELF!
There are 14 car dealerships closing in Alabama. None of the 14 voted for Obama. If you talk to the first black owners of dealerships in the south, you will hear horrible tales of how they were treated by the automakers, including receiving the wrong parts and flooded, rebuilt vehicles. Now these people feel we should help them. They must CHECK THEMSELVES!
Alabama’s foreign carmakers pay up to $27.00 per hour, including benefits. The profits go to Germany, Korea and Japan. Do you think Kia is an American/Alabama company? Alabama sent it sons to war with those country; we are told that we won those wars. Yet, today we are bowing to those countries.
African Americans have remained loyal to America. Even though African Americans were often insulted by our leaders of that time. We had to fight for the right to get killed. Initially, we were the only ethnic group not allowed to fight in those wars because our Government said Negroes could not fly a plane, captain a ship, shoot a gun, and would run if we faced the enemy in battle. Yet the American Negro remained loyal to this country. Why???
I say let Detroit go; Alabama can be the largest carmaker (all foreign) in America.
Black people are becoming wiser in how they spend their dollars; to whom they give their money. Yes, there will always be those Africans in America who think all is well, but I suggest that we all become more frugal in our spending.
There will be no Social Security or Medicare in a few years. That means all that money we put in will be gone. WELCOME TO AMERICA! Oh yeah: More blacks still going to prison than college; plenty of jobs there. Remember that slavery was about free labor and the south fought a war to preserve their way of life.
For the first time in Tuskegee’s history, fourteen (14) workers for the city of Tuskegee will soon be laid off; with the exception of Police and Fire, other workers will be cut to 32 hours per week. And a few will be cut to 20 hours per week. Didn’t we hire a City Manager to improve the City? Hmmmmm!!
They are looking into new taxes for us: An increased gas tax for those of you that drive, a heavier tax on booze for those who drink and a higher tobacco tax. For those of you who roll your own, a new rolling paper and cigar to blunt tax? Hmmmm
Child Support Court back to normal. Thirty-seven (37) females with baby’s everywhere, and only 7 guys there pleading poor to the judge. WHY??? Most of these youth get pregnant during football season. Now we see the mothers and their babies and no fathers. It is time to break the cycle.
